32 weeks

Well, once again there's not much news but I still wanted to post our 32 week pic and give an update on our doctors appointment. Monday marked 32 weeks and we went to the doctor on Wednesday. We are now going every two weeks until 36 weeks. Sydney's heart beat and size are normal and my blood pressure and "symptoms" are normal so we're all happy! They said all was good with both of us and that's about it!
After our appointment we drove to Franklin, TN to pick up our last piece of furniture for the nursery - hooray! I was sooo beginning to panic after 4 months of waiting!!! But now it's here and we can start getting the nursery exactly how we want it for her arrival. Our curtains were hung last week and look fabulous (thanks mom and dad!).

After we picked up our furniture we had a couple of other stops to make before rushing home for Wednesday night church. We had to be back in town by 5:00 so Corey could drive the church bus. I rode with him to help with crowd control and snapped this pic because I KNOW some of you wouldn't believe it unless you saw it. ha! I know he's thinking - what in the world did I get myself into almost 3 years ago with her!?!? Of course he did wonderful, was a hit with the kids, and said he wouldn't mind doing it again whenever he needed to. Isn't he just precious?

Tonight we're looking forward to a double date with the Millers. We keep saying it's probably going to be our last with just the 4 of us but we're ok with that! :-) However, our double dates don't really consist of what they used to. We're thinking dinner at Montana Grill and then HOME! That's about all Kacie and I can handle these days.

Oh, Baby!

Friday night we had a baby shower at my house for my best friend Kacie Miller! It was so much fun from planning the event (which I absolutely love to do) until the very end of the night (swollen feet and all). I had lots of good help throughout the whole process...Natalie, Jennifer Burr, Abby Wilhite and Mom helped me with every little detail and we were able to pull off a great shower for Kacie! She got lots of adorable stuff that we ooh'ed and aahh'ed over and knowing her she's got it all in it's perfect little place in Belle's room already! Speaking of Belle - we once again ALL tried to talk her into at least sharing the first letter of the baby's real name with us but once again - to no avail! Urg!

Here are some pictures of the tables all decked out in pink - of course!
And here are the hostesses with Kacie...

And here's the two of us...belly to belly!

Before you know it, I'll be posting baby pics on here of "Belle". Kacie has only got 4 weeks to go!!!! I can't wait!

Anybody loving their MAMA today?

Well, I sure am!

Mom just spent her whole afternoon yesterday helping me (or actually doing it) decorate and plan for a baby shower I'm having next week for my BFF...just like she had nothing else to do! I hugged and thanked her when she left late yesterday afternoon but the hug or the "thank you" is sooo not enough for all she does for us! She is CONSTANTLY doing for us, taking care of us, feeding us, giving to us, and taking time out to help us do whatever we need! What an AWESOME MOM!

So on this "Day before Valentines Day" I just wanted to let Mom know how much I love her and appreciate ALL that she does for me EACH AND EVERY DAY. There aren't enough hugs and thank you's out there to let you know how much we all appreciate you! You're the best and we are the luckiest!!!!

Sydneys new glider

Another piece of Sydneys nursery is now complete...We got her new swivel glider/recliner in yesterday (that's kind of a mouth full) and we love it! I spent an afternoon in January going from one furniture store to another, sitting in chair after chair and finally found the PERFECT one and we even got to pick the fabric we wanted which was a huge PLUS! It's in the nursery right now but may be in our room for several weeks since she'll be sleeping in there with us...we'll just have to see what happens! It was very important to us to have a good chair to be able to rock and feed her in - day and night - and we're so pleased with this! As you can see, Sydney won't be the only one enjoying it, I'm sure...
Looks like Dad is ready for rocking duty!
